Hit a pub with the wife and another couple Friday nigjt, all 4 of us are not rookies when it comes to beer/wine consumption.
2 of us had 3 beers the other 2 had 2.
All 4 of us woke up with KILLER hang over symptoms the next day.
Granted we were drinking some good high alcohol beers ( aggorant bastard, dead guy, steelrail, etc) but I have quadrupled that intake and not felt as bad as I did that morning.
What gives? Bad lines? Someone slip us all a Mickey? Or are we just getting old?

Did you drink much water yesterday?

90% of the time I get a hangover is because of dehydration.

One would think a pub that serves quality beers like that would take care in having their lines cleaned frequently. Depending on the state where the pub was located, having the lines cleaned regularly is a Health Code requirement. Ohio actually has the most aggressive code on cleaning lines that I've seen. I had to have the lines cleaned twice per month at the bar I managed.

It could have been from bad lines. A few years ago my wife and I had a bottle of wine where the cork was questionable. We each had only about 1/2 a glass because it didn't taste quite right. We examined the cork and it looked funny. The next morning we both had bad hangover symptoms.
Bacteria can cause the same type symptoms as a hangover. I'd avoid that Pub if I were you.
