From a web owners perspective, I don't think that Ski Sundown, who pays for a banner ad here, would be too pleased to see that others are getting free advertising. Not as pretty as a banner, but free and in your face nonetheless.

Hi, Just wanted to say hello and let you know that the Magic videos are certainly not from the mountain. Greg (Rustygroomer) and I make the videos along with our friend Guy Douchette, we are basicaly weekend warriors with a decent IMAC. This mountain is our passion and we want to share it with the right people. It worked, I met one of you this weekend, you asked if I was Rusty Groomer and I said yes as that is our joint video account. Sorry I didn't grab your name, was just back from a run and ready to pass out!

We will make videos as we have for years, this is the first year we have the capability to share! Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the feedback!

As for the Mountain on the side of the cams, we needed to tell which camera was which so we used a different color sticker to differentiate!

i'm just pissed i forgot to wear the Save Magic Mountain t-shirt that I was tricked into buying.

I know one other site I frequent has a rule that anyone who is affiliated with a commercial enterprise related to the site has to state it in their signature, that way you know right away if someone has an agenda. Of course that probably doesn't matter with the save Magic guys.

+1 for the continuing of the videos you make at Magic. They are entertaining and have quality footage of some really good skiing. Magic looks like a fantastic mountain. It looks so steep and natural. I like how it is so different from so many other places I have skied at. It isn't losing the original spirit of skiing which is common these days. Mountains are over run by shops, boutiques, GIANT hotels, restaurants, and 15,000 of your closest and dearest friends all trying to squeeze onto the same high speed lift only to be unloaded like cattle and herded down the mountain. A mountain owned and run by skiers, not Corporate America. I like it.

RustyGroomer/Gondola - Guy Douchette is an old friend of mine. We went to nursing school together many years ago in Canada. I know that name anywhere as I have only heard one person ever called that. A number of years ago we went to a monoboard party out west and I haven't seen him since. I will have to come to Magic to catch up with my old friend. :beer: If i know Guy he has a stash of curvy ladies and cold drinks just begging to end up in some warm hands.
