Congrats VT! I didn't even realize there was a Springfield, VT...

To those you travel I91 it's just the exit after the Chester exit about 25 miles north of Bratt.. My only personal experience with the place was many years ago when my friend put the tip of his ski pole thru the side of his mouth after a big fall at Magic and we took him to the Springfield Hospital to get it stitched up.

Lame. I haven't been a Simpsons fan in a while, but when I think Springfield I don't think Vermont. Never been but I figured a mid-west Springfield felt more Simpsons like. Springfield, MA would have worked well too. Not too much just how small the open day draw will be for a small VT town, lol.

Actually, I am not jealous at all... NH is already treating me much better than VT did. Regardless, I still don't see the Simpsons as a good fit for small town VT.

Wasnt there a Simpson's episode set in Vermont? I think Lisa went to a writing camp that in real life is Middlebury College's Bread Loaf Writers Conference. I believe one of the writers or producers of the show went to Middlebury.
Not a huge fan of the show, only watch sometimes, but I think it's cool that Springfield won.

PS. Steve - have you registered your car in NH yet (from what I understand it can get/is expensive)? They get you one way or another ;)

The expensive registration is mostly an issue with new cars from what I understand. The taxes all work out in the end, six of one half dozen of the other since there is no income or sales but property can get pricey (we are looking at about 3k per year for what we want but that also is two people not paying income nor sales tax so it evens out).
