I'm just saying we have some pretty cold weather headed our way next week. Cold enough for a 48+ hour snowmaking window. I'm just pointing that out strictly from a meteorological perspective...do with it what you will....

I'm pretty sure he's the one who does the forecasts for the mountain ops team.

It could be wishful thinking, but it appears like SR is getting ready to hit the big green "GO" button.

Russ is the man. There was a small hint by roma yesterday in the parks thread about a park for Halloween.

I think they would have already started if it were not for the Ncp due Sat night.

I would expect them to go at it next week. They better I took next friday off. I also took the following Friday . just to be safe. I have admit alot less info flowing out of the river lately. Alot of tight lipped stuff. You don't have to explain why it went wrong if you did not say anything to begin with. When it starts it will be out in the open.

Damn it, I'm skiing next Friday like it or not. I may have to climb Mount Washy to do it in unsafe conditions, but I've had enough of this off-season garbage!

Kind of sad that Killington will be beat at their own game, or will they? :) Last year Killington was cocky with their we don't need so many skier visits attitude, it seemed to have worked. This year they seem more desperate to get skiers back. They actually called me the other day to let me know that season pass increase was approaching, that was suprising. And then they offered $100 off on season passes if you buy a $100 worth of goods from a Killington Chamber of Commerce member, hmm... olive branch to the town folks they offened and increased pass sales.

I would not at all be suprised if Killington went back to the Killington of old and pulls a fast one on everyone by beating the other resorts to the punch.
