Happy Birthday man...that was quite a posse we started with. After a first run, in which JJ headed towards Gondolier with Allen and crew, of boot to knee deep blower through the hardwoods off the Bench, I headed down towards a line I like to hit early on a powder morning. The others went off to ski the Planets. Jim, Wulfie and his younger brother, and I got back on the gondola and saw the others coming across the parking lot. After waiting for a little at the top, we headed off....powder day and all.
Turns out they took a little longer since they decided to go to their cars and get skins/gear...for an epic decent of Hellbrook. We ended up spinning some bench runs before doing some middle mountain runs, such as the always promising Bypass Chutes...other areas sampled were Goatdive Woods, White Rock, Chapel Woods, Hazelton Chutes, and a little shot at the bottom I discovered a week ago.
After a break at the Octagon (where we ran into Allen, Sam, and Erme), we headed back to the Gondi for more Bench variation runs. By now it was early afternoon and we stopped to get a few photos. Wulfie and bro were going to hit the back bowls and kept on moving. Here's what we came up with:

My tracks down a particularly sweet shot that just kept flowing down the mountain. I have to try and find that one again.

In deep.

Then we met up with Allen, Sam, and Erme for a run off the gondi. It was a sweet day overall. Lots of runs that were all very soft. The snow's deep and now the surface conditions are back up to where we'd like 'em.
