Began as a bluebird day, quickly clouding and dumping a good 6" by noon. Spent most of the day in the mani woods anyways. First tracks were on some groomers where ti was a mix of snowcat mm corn and newfallen. Began to scrape off by 10. We moved on. Winds picked up significanyly by noon. Boot deep pow and first tracks all day. Hardly anyone in the woods all day and it just kept snowing. Childs play after Paradise the day before.
Only one accomplishment today, a snapped pole.
Looks like NNE incl SL and JP were all great!. Great to see lots of peeps enjoying mid winter conditions. Sad to think closings are in a few weeks. With such deep base we could ski until May!

Weather in the northeast is wild. I was approximately 50 miles to the west at Whiteface, NY. Like you said it clouded up but over there there was nothing more then flurries. Its interesting how the Greens (and particularly Mansfield) always get the goods. Glad to here you ate it up this weekend Bill.
