In most places people will call this Friday, February 2nd 'Groundhog's Day,' but in Vermont it's definitely 'Woodchuck Day.' Each year on this day, people around the country watch to see if winter might end early. In Stowe, everyone knows this winter just got a big boost, with over 3 Feet of new snow since January 13th. Skiers and riders in Stowe also know that the best winter has to offer still lays ahead. So, Stowe invites all snow lovers to celebrate the beginning of the rest of winter, and experience the best conditions and terrain in the east.

Full-day lift tickets will be only $35, and the first 500 people to show up also get a free Stowe Points Card, that's over a hundred bucks worth of free fun. This February 2nd, don't focus on Punxsutawney, obsess about winter in Stowe.
