Hit up Stratton for leap day. $29.00 Connecticut Ski Council ticket….OK. Wasn’t expecting a lot and whola, another great day on the hill. Started out cool and cloudy. An inch of blower had fallen overnight! Pulled into some glade for a safety meeting and my first revelation is that these glades are skiable! Not that it was deep, just well covered with some nice soft snow. Being so woods deprived this year, spent all morning skiing in the woods. After lunch it started snowing steadily. Picked up a couple inches. Made skiing outside the woods much more enjoyable, especially some bumps I found hanging around. Always seem to have a good time at Stratton………………………….
Oh yeah...the groomers did rock!
