Nope.... We skied all day, grabbed one "adult beverage" and drove to the nexr Mt. to find a place to crash Any descent looking hotel/Inn on the way, or w/in 5-10 minutes of the Mt wasgood enough for us !

Mid week, Drive In Lodging at those places is no problem !

I say this every year I post holiday prices, and everyone already knows, most people don't pay top rate. Like PP, I'll ski there on off-times with some discount dredged up from someplace. Like the old saying goes, if you don't have a discount, you're not looking hard enough.
Bill may have been too modest to say so but you need look no further than the link in his sig for some very nice discounts. I joined ACE a couple weeks ago and have an order in for, among other things, two S6 tix @ $5 apiece. (No, I'm not missing a 0 on the end.) Subject to holiday blackouts but that's OK, I'll have other cheap options during those times. Some higher-demand ACE tix are sold out already but with my membership card I'll also be eyeing Stowe for Club Appreciation Days @ $40 a pop next weekend, by which time the snow could be getting pretty deep if the longer-range wx forecasts verify.
