We have some family visiting this weekend, initially told them they may want to take a pass but it looks like Stratton’s making a push to wrap up the season in style.

With more stable cold weather expected this week, we look forward to firing up snowmaking tomorrow and begin to rebuild surfaces and expand terrain as we head toward the weekend!

Kudos to them for firing up in late march, although if they hadn't lost so much run time earlier in the season due to all the pipe they blew up, this may not be necessary

I am also pleasantly surprised at the snowmaking. Need a big storm though. Mother nature usually delivers one at the end of the season.

Did the afternoon shift, the freeze really softened. Last night was rain for those night skiers. Bus driver said a lot of the am people left after an hour. All the trails getting heavy snowmaking all season are still solid, with a few exceptions. Tamarack is closed and everything you can see off the ursa was a sheet of glass. Lotta action at the main base.
