Not taking shots, just making an observation. But could you imagine that crowd at Magic, MRG, SB, or even the North Face - what a sight that would be!

From a hard core skier perspective, I can see where Stratton bashing can be a fun sport.

From a business side, you've got to give them alot of credit. They have found a clientele that they've learned to cater to very well, and in turn has made them ALOT of $$ in the form of all the pricey real estate that they've built and sold(and continue to do so) over the years. They're straight with their customers with essentially a mother nature proof fixed opening and closing day, and as a result they retain alot of customers.

While the challenge of the mtn might not be for everyone, they've carved themselves out a very nice and loyal and profitable niche of the skiing/riding market in the Northeast, and you've got to give them credit for that.

I just don't like the vibe, so I don't go there and don't talk about it. Have more fun talking about mountains I like :)
