Stratton Mountain
Conditions: spring, sunny and warm
Skiied 'Spring Fling' at Stratton Saturday and Sunday. I don't think we could have asked for nicer weather or conditions. Had great company and skiied hard all weekend. Bumps were soft and snow was a little chopped up but actually really nice. We took Ursa up almost all weekend to stay out of the gondola, it was pretty laid back this weekend and it was quite entertaining to see what people were wearing for there spring skiing attire, or lack there of! Lift lines weren't long and we got tons of runs in. Tomorrow is technically last day at Stratton but they may open up again next weekend for a couple of runs. They still have the snow to do it, hopefully the warm weather this week won't take that away! Saturday there was a great bbq and the pulled brisket sandwich with coleslaw and a naragansett hit the spot. All in all, the weekend at Stratton was amazing and I had a blast. Sad that it may have been my last day on a resort this season....:-( ... but soo happy that the mountain and weather treated me this way this weekend!!
