The previous day, Friday, saw a lot of morning snow but it iced up bad late in the day with sleet and people were falling left and right on NASTAR.

Last night It rained and stopped this morning. Empty parking lot at 11am, very windy on the walk up to the Gathouse lodge with slippery ice. Today was surprisingly very sweet and soft, forgiving snow. So, I decided to hit the terrain park at North for a change. Here are the hightlights:

Next week is looking great for colder weather :). We've had some great natural powder days before in the holiday in a nasty snow/rain cycle. I'm guessing the bush will be back blowing man-made to cover the bare spots soon. Hopefully there's another dump in our short-term future. Getting a little tired of the granular already.

Tomorrow, I'll be looking for the guns and might try to get some close-ups of snowmaking.

Let me be the first to say, these are great action shots. And your camera does really well with the fog (first pic).
