Trip Report:
We got to Mount Ellen at 8:30 bought tickets, booted up and rode the Inverness chair up. Inverness was closed for racing so we cut over to Brambles and ducked under the ropes. Goldmine! Only four tracks laid ahead of ours- boot deep for me and knee deep for my son.

We lapped this over and over until the ski patrol yelled at us. After that we started hitting Semi-Tough and under the Poma on Inverness- sweet just the same! My son wanted to go over to Castlerock so we hit Middle Earth. Soft pillows of snow to bounce off of. I wanted to hit it again, but the line was too long for my son to wait. We went back to Mt. Ellen and checked out Walt's Woods and the Poma line on Inverness again. We went into the Brambles Woods and by then my legs were pretty shot. I fell and hit my head kinda hard, so we called it a day, but what a day!

I'm a day late, I'll be there Monday and Tuesday. I'm expecting conditions to be much better than when I was there a month ago. I blew it, I chose Whiteface, they got ten inches, but lifts were on windhold. I probably should have hung around, what a beautiful bluebird day. The wind chill was predicted at twenty below at WF today. Hopefully I can find some untracked snow in the trees at Sugarbush, not counting on it however. Sure wish I had chosen VT to ski Sunday. You wait all year for snow, then pick the wrong place to be, sucks. Reading all these great TR isn't helping.

Awesome. Heading up with @MaineSkiFamily in two weeks for a long weekend at Sugarbush and MRG. Thanks for the report and stoke. Hopefully we will get some 'trail refreshment' frequently for the rest of the season!
