Still a month away but thought I'd put it out there.

Having never skied in May before I've been targeting May 1st as my final day of the season. Planning (hoping) for Sugarbush but obviously dependent on many factors outside my control.

Skied SB last year on 4/26 and coverage was great, hoping for similar this year.

hope they make it that long. I'd be all about it, but I'm in Quebec City that weekend for a non-skiing mini-vacay.

My only hope for May at this point is if Kton makes it 5/8-5/9 weekend.

I will be there that weekend at some point. I will say that the snowpack is way lower than last year. It seems we really got cheated this season. I am going to be there on Friday, so I will report back when I can.

We got not only a snowless March, but a very warm November that ruined snowmaking. :( Maybe things will change. Josh Fox's Single Chair Weather Blog said that the warmth this weekend will pretty much kill MRG and many other places. :(

I'm an optimist. We were there for opening day on Dec 6th and I promised my son we would ski at Sugarbush on closing day. If there's snow on Steins we'll be there !
