Date(s) Skied: 3/15
Resort or Ski Area: Sugarloaf
Conditions: Powder!

We left around 6:45 am from the Brunswick area and got on skis around 10 am. Most of the mountain was skied off by then, but there was plenty of great soft snow still left over to play in.

The run of the day was easily Haulback. It had the perfect pitch and was wide enough to not get tracked out as fast as other trails. It must have been somewhat sheltered from the wind too since there weren't many thick drifts. Kickback glade also skied very well. We didn't venture into Brackett, there was plenty of snow everywhere else.

The conditions reminded me of what it was like skiing a day after a storm out west. The powder wasn't blower, but still incredibly soft and absolutely everywhere.

The mountain is set up well for spring skiing. So long as it stays cold, the conditions should be exceptional for the next week or so.

I put together a fun little edit with the GoPro footage we shot. Feel free to give it a watch!
