Nice pix! Is the Mexican restaurant open? Im heading up there tomorrow and like eating there.
If you’re thinking of Mas Amigos in the village by The Bag. It closed at the end of last season and Brickyard Hollow moved in. Brickyard Hollow is a great restaurant in the Portland area and have expanded seemingly everywhere in the state. Including Eustis and now Sugarloaf. BH in Eustis closed unexpectedly last month. And sounds like they are struggling on mountain now too.

Sorry to hear all the bad luck @urungus . At least you got a clear day to take in the views.

I should’ve mentioned you’ve got to be in the bucksaw area to ski back to the car.

I’m happy to report that Black Diamond Burrito is still open. It’s upstairs next to the board shop overlooking the double lift

I wonder why so many uphillers choose to climb the west side of the mountain when they could climb burnt mountain instead.

Yeah, guess it is a multi year install. Not sure exactly why, hopefully current Timberline stays standing and operable for next season.
If this map is correct they presumably need to spend a summer cutting trails and installing snowmaking before the lift goes in.
