Snow conditions: soft, typical spring snow
Weather: blue sky, no wind, warm sun, plenty of it.

Day trip, got there about noon. If there was corn earlier, obviously, I missed it, but the snow wasn't too wet or heavy despite strong sun and 50*F. At the end of the day, it did get a bit like mashed potatoes, but hey, that's spring. For the most part, it skied really well. The snow was very consistent throughout the mountain and despite the warmth, there really was no "slow snow zones". That's what happens when a section of the trail gets overly saturated with water and it feels like all of the sudden you've run over a carpet that's grabbing your skis.

The bumps on Upper Flying Goose were too deeply rutted for my taste so I had some trouble with finding a nice line (upper part of the field was fine). I guess the bumps were fine, I just could not ski them well.
Bumps under the Sunbowl quad were just pure fun.
Overall, I had a super day (or half a day, I should say and I'm glad I caught a great spring ski day.

The snow cover is terrific, edge to edge, some glades open with good cover in the trees. If the area doesn't get too much rain, they can easilly get to April.
