From the website today:

Today we received 7” of new snow. Just in time for MLK weekend. We expect to have at least 41 trails open this weekend. Of the bigger resorts in New England Mount Sunapee has one of the highest percentages of total terrain open. 85% of our snowmaking terrain will be open totaling more than 172 acres of skiing and riding and 13 miles in length. The Bob Skinner’s 603 Terrain Park is wide open with 30 features and its 4,000 watt sound system. For all you bumpers, we plan to seed the moguls Saturday night on Upper Flying Goose and dust them with snowmaking.

Nice!

They weren't kidding. Some of the nicest "freshly seeded" bumps I've seen (crappy Blackberry pic).

Too bad it started raining. I'm assuming they froze up solid last night .

Sounds good I might be heading there this weekend if my buddy comes thru with the free pass

Wish the woods would be open... who knows maybe we'll get enough snow Saturday for Sunday woods skiing?

Unfortunately things froze pretty solid after the rain on Tuesday. They got a few inches last night, but it's not enough to soften up the bumps. Too bad, because the lines sure look pretty.

Certainly can't pound them into sumbission, but they are still fun if you take it slow .

Snuck over at 3 to get a few runs in. Bumps are actually skiing pretty well. The freestyle kids cut in some nice lines.

I skied Sunapee today and if there were any bumps on the mountain I couldn't find them

whole mountain was groomed over and fairly slick... makes you appreciate freshly tuned edges

I skied with my good friend who Snowboards and I think I have met my match when it comes to bombing down the mountain at full speed!

 Well that sucks if that's the case. As of 4:00 Saturday Flying Goose was mint. Doesn't make any sense that they would have mowed them down.

Bumps were still there on Flying Goose as of 3-ish yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday was the best day of the season in my opinion. No crowds (except in the lodges due to the race) and you could actually find some soft snow around even at the end of the day.

Thanks beullski. Crappy picture, but you can still see them on the webcam.

I guess I missed Flying Goose. I wasn't really paying attention to what trails I skiied, it was my first time there and I met up with a friend who was familiar with the mountain and we basically just aimed downwards with some variation

See my Trip Report for Sunapee yesterday.... I will type that up in a few minutes..

there was some good, there was some bad..
