Sounds like it might not be worth it until someone pops in and says Boulder was worth it.

Got back not to long ago. It was definitely worth it for Nov 22nd. I ended up doing laps on Boulder Park Trail and Bunny's Schuss or whatever it's called the entire day. I didn't even see the other side of the mt. There was enough snow on snowdrift that plenty of people were skiing that too although I don't think it was marked as open. The guns were on everywhere so visibility was a bit tough especially when the sun went down. The snow was really nice, your standard man mad chalky snow. It was chewed up from traffic all day and real fun to plow through. Definitely not a bad day 1.

Also made it up there late this afternoon/early evening. I was doing mostly family skiing, but I'll agree for Nov. 22, it was definitely worth it. Spent the non-family time on the Boulder Park Trail and the snow was very good. Looked like they'll have at least 1 more trail open for tomorrow.

Boulder was fun tonight, lots of man made chalky snow with the guns firing on pretty much every trail. Visibility was real tough though. Some bad news, I did hear projected opening day for JF is 12-13...

Phil, like you, I had intentions of getting some runs in on Sunday but three runs open at a place 2 hrs drive away is not worth it, when you know you have some amazing skiing in just a little over a week. Go get some goods this weekend. I will!
