Sat high 30's and 40's
Sunday 20's to low 40's at departure.
Friday was the ga2ski show. AKA tigger. :lol:Started with his pitcure on the home page. Linc to channel 8's TV/video below. I missed opening day by an hour of so. They opened Thursday around 3. I had guessed two Pm. Monkeybrook and myself arrived early and set up for a breakfast BBQ. thankx to MB we ate well. Thaller1,Whaller , Jerry G and myself added a little to the bbq. We hit the lift at 10 sharp. A little hay to get on the lift and we were on our way . It was mid station and above for the turns. Down loading was a bit slow but okay and expected. Some walked down and they let you ski down Sunday Punch but 100 yards of walking or so was needed.

Two grooming passes were made on T2, that was pretty nice, as it warmed up the skiers right of T2 softened up and was sweet ungroomed, kind of a corn snow feel. A few rails set up for the park folk with a kicker. Made 10 runs and hung in the lot for a bit with friends and had to get to Nh for a meeting.
Sat I finished my meeting and made the hill around Noon. got a call from Jerry G and Snowmonster info was that they has shut down to groom for a bit. I made 5 runs somehow missing them. Just T2. Finally we hooked up. snow making has started in the am. It was 42 at the base, but guns blowing up top. Solid and tough to ski, but fun and manageable.. Was not really an easy day, but no complaints, day two was in the books Alot of effort by the mountain to make it work.. It was Time to watch football and see the gang again. Crowds were minimal. Kind of spoiled casue Friday was so nice.
Sunday was weird casue of the time change. Making snow every where. T2 Jungle road, Upper Punch, Cascases Jim's whim., all weekend up top on those runs trying to linc barker.
Sunday was the best day of the 3. Lower Sunday punch was good, top to bottom turns. Good until the very bottom, where it was thin. Again no complaints. Excellent effort by all to let us play. Snowmakers lifties, groomers. Thankx to all.
The new boyne Guns crank out some nice snow even at marginal temps. It was very obvious they made a difference. Sunday punch was alot of fun. T2 was a new trail, Wider and fresh mm soft snow. Base was getting deep. Some whales. I Left around 11.30 Upper Punch should be ready to go for next weekend, Cascases maybe. I think the barker lift will be ready to run. Jungle road looked like it was covered well.
Pretty satisfied, I was with my weekend. Ow ya. With costume tickets were free on Friday. All three days were $25. What a value. Low teck. Ga2ski and Jerry G had some shots I hope they can add.
