Today proved what I already knew. Temptor simply doesn't achieve spring uber softness unless there has been rain and 50+ temps in the past 4 hours. This morning I thought it felt like spring and decided to bail early and ski a few hours this afternoon. Got the mountain around 3 pm. Luckily MQ provided some company as the bumps were, well, a little firmer than I hoped. Still very skiable though.

After MQ split, I hit Sunnyside in the hopes of practicing some air on the the little jump over there. Actually, I just wanted to show off in front of all the seventh graders, but I digress....

Anyway, good to get out on Temptor for a few hours. Thanks for the company MQ. I hope you got my "shout-out" on the race course tonight.

Looking forward to Saturday.

Great skiing with you today! Glad you got some quality kicker practice time. Hopefully you found a trick that won't do too much damage to your injury. Thanks for the shout out during my race. I got SILVER tonight, thanks to Phil Mahre. He really did improve my style. I improved about 2 seconds! .......now all I need is a race suit :-o

No problem man, it was the least I could do, especially since someone else went through the trouble of finding it and leaving it on my desk. ;)

NICE!!! Congrats. I could see you were faster on the first run. I missed watching you come through on run 2. No groin damage done this afternoon by the way, smartass. ;)

Big props to Shannon who pace set the red course tonight. He edged out Jim Moore who's usually the fastest on the race crew. Shannon is screaming this year. Might very well be Sundown best all-around skier. Super nice guy too. Would love to rip up a place like Magic or MRG with him someday.

Speaking of the red course, man, one helluva rut set up on that tonight. This one gate kept wrecking racers. One dude walked right out of his ski and skied to the bottom without it. :-o

Gotta love the small local hill sometimes. Sorry I missed you for post-work beers, but the bar was packed tonight.
