Skiercross/Boardercross in the Terrain Park
Date of Event: 02/01/2009 to 02/01/2009
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 12:00 PM

2nd year... 4th event... we've still got Stitch, and the new park Bully should make it easier to build a sick course. We're taking up the entire trail for this one... look for up-hill hips, mondo rollers and bank turns straight from NASCAR. Who's got skills? We want the king (or queen) of speed exposed! This competition will pit skiers against skiers, boarders against boarders. Age categories in each discipline are: Male Under 13; Male 14-21; Male 22 & Older; Female-Open. Those are the categories. Who's the winner? This will be an elimination format where the first 2 racers to cross the finish line advance to the next round. Ski Market's got this one and wants to hook you up with gear! The Stinger trail will be closed for the event. Temptor and N'oreaster will be accessible via Canyon Run at the Sundeck. Registration from 8:00-9:30am, $10 entry fee; YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND READY TO PREVIEW COURSE AT 9:45AM; Competition from 10-Noon with awards to follow. Helmets required. Release form required and must be signed by parent/legal guardian if under age 18.

i'll be at Sundown on Saturday afternoon. I imagine the course will be setup by then, i wonder if they'll allow people to try it out???

IIRC it was open to the public last year before the event.
