I don't remember seeing this as an option last year, but has anyone taken advantage of Ski Sundown's Parent & Tot Lessons?
Parent & Tot Private Lesson
Ski lessons for ages 3-6 with Mom or Dad. Work with one of our specially trained instructors and be part of your child's first skiing experience. You will learn how to explore the mountain together while having fun. Parent's skill level must be intermediate or above. By appointment only. Reservations required.

It's $99 for a one hour lesson, not including equipment. They won't do group lessons unless your child is 4 years old. Our daughter will be 2.5 this winter. I'm trying to decide if we should bother with the Parent & Tot Lesson (which she looks like a 4 year old so I hope they wouldn't give us a hard time). It may just be that she's too young to really grasp the concepts and that she'd have just as much fun walking around with one cheapo plastic ski on or the like, KWIM?

My oldest was a bit timid last year at 3 turning 4 and didn't get a whole lot out of the Puffins program. She learned far more with me slip-sliding around on the learning area. At 2 1/2, I would just get her comfortable going through the whole process of booting up, clicking in, skating around, etc. The magic carpet at Sundown is so gentle that you might be able to spend this season just fooling around on that. I would at least take her out a few times before the lesson.
