Date(s) Hiked: 10/7/06
Trails(s) Hiked: Mount Tecumseh Trail, Boneyard (a ski trail I took on descent!)
Total Distance: 4.4mi
Total Vertical: 2275
Difficulty: moderate-hard
Conditions: perfect except for areas made ambigous by leaf fall (first stream crossing)
Special Required Equipment: Boots
Trip Report:
This was a quick hike. didnt even take 90 minutes and only about 2200 vertical! views are primarily to the east therefore to the tripyramids. Trail is rocky! I followed the ski trail down form the ski vista which was full of the three ski area pitfalls: Raspberries, Soggy spots, and blazing hot Arabian sun!
full report and pictures can be found here: http://hoosactunnel.net/nonhoosac/NH/Tehcumseh061007
Ate at the coyote grill in Waterville Valley for dinner, highly reccomend (needs reservations, but you can eat at the bar). Very friendly.
