If you buy, come to Cannon. Great bars top and bottom. I will be your friend and I am outside Boston. I am not cheap though.

I'm in similar situation. don't like to go to WaWa alone. Driving further north even worse can't convinced anybody (especially this year) ...my schedule can be flexible if needed ;)

isnt that the worst. i had one friend who rode, and his excuse was he never had money, but he and his wife had no problems doing things she wanted to do. infuriating. making new friends is hard

^ Aww, man! You should have come out to play today! A good time was had by all.
How are the conditions up that way? Firm and fast?

Have plans (and passes) to head back but next weekend will likely be a zoo so I think I'll wait.

The DW is really making progress on her skiing so we get to ski together a lot more.

^ Firm but edgeable. The steeper terrain (e.g., Upper Walking Boss) tended to be more scraped up than the low angle intermediate runs (e.g., Lower Walking Boss), which were quite good. Based on conversations with randome skiers, early morning was really good. Get there early. Even the South Peak parking overflowed.

Go to Magic. Friendliest place around. Lots of folks willing to ski with you, for a run, two, three whatever. Just get on the mountain skiing. And. These people love to ski. Period. Skiing up to the last bell, then into the Talisman bar for some food or liquid nutrition. Nice band there tonight too. Easy to make friends, you just show up, no need to coordinate logistics. I made it back from Magic to Lex in 2.5 hours via Keene.

No joke, no agenda here.
