I'm not sure why I'm less concerned with snowmaking than many people here. My feeling is that if they need snowmaking to keep the mountain open, then it's probably not worth skiing that day. Yes, I understand that a bad day skiing is better than a good day at work, but a bad gouge in my base makes my soul hurt a bit.

Thanks for welcoming me to the community. My brother's been an active participant here as he's joined the community of day trippers and outbackers. For now, I like lifts, preferably taking up one person at a time.

I agree with you...MRG is what it is, a ski area from 1950. Leave it that way.

Any updates to the status of controlled access to/egress from Big Basin?

Eric, thanks for taking some questions from us...

1. Any ideas for guided downhill ski programs akin to the snowshoe walks you already do? I guess you could potentially be stepping on peoples toes if you ruin a favorite stash, but I thin exploration and MRG go hand in hand anyway.

P.S. I've heard great things about the snowshoe tours, but It's hard for me to think of spending a day on snow at MRG no flying through trees, powder, off rocks and moguls.

2. Can you please order more SingleChair Ale long sleeve shirts so I can buy one next year?

3. Any ideas to work more directly with Win and the new Sugarbush management? A number of people were hoping for some sort of all mountain pass or ticket.

4. Since the foundation of the Co-op, have there been any significant or surprising changes in the attitude of the governing body for you personally?

Most importantly, as the telemark capital of the east, do you plan on offering anything else to get people into telemark skiing? Maybe that could work pretty well with the off piste stuff, but I would really just like to learn to free the heal.

Another day another question,

Will you be doing forest maintenance for lift tickets this summer? When will the dates be announced? Will I be able to borrow clippers if I don't have any?

Are there any plans in the future for the sunnyside double? I know most of the lift was replaced a few years ago but the drive terminal is getting up there in age. In the last few years when I have been there, on two occasions the lift has been down due to mechanical problems. Which as I am sure you know can create a 40 minute line at the single mid week and I would hate to see what it would be like on a weekend. Are there any plans in the future for this lift or have I just hit it on off days?
