All i know is that I Tivo'd it and will probably be watching that last episode about three more times...

Though I have to disagree I think they could go more than just one more season...with jack, kate, sawyer, out indefinitely...and who knows what happened to MR. Echo, Locke and Desmond...the writers have about 32 other charachters to pull from to build the story arc....the show is like good sex, slow building with lots of twists and turns

Now, If only they could come up with some way to start skiing those mountains on that Island...I mean does anyone else look at those hills and see they are just crying to be descended?

The story arc needs it. Otherwise it will Jump the shark.
In some ways I agree. I didn't know how they were going to make it past the first season when they started. They've done a pretty good job of coming up with twists to keep it interesting though. I hope they can manage to keep it good through at least next season though!

I got hooked on Lost. So we found out that Henry is a leader of "The Others".

Henry may not be the leader. He could be his right hand man. With all the twists and turns, I expect that to be the case. I doubt that Locke perished in the cliffhanger. His character is one of the more interesting to watch.

What really has me thinking is Desmond's friend that is looking for him? I think that this shows that this is not someone's dream and that thse people can actually be rescued at some point. This show is not close to jumping the shark yet. You spend the entire show looking for hidden clues and trying to figure out how everything is connected. I think it's one of the best shows to come around in a long time.

The Missus and I are really looking forward to it. We never got into it when it first ran, but we watched the season 1 and 2 DVDs so we're caught up.

BTW, YSD... The overall script for the series takes it to about 5 seasons with a feature length film to wrap it up afterwards. Abrams (or maybe it was Lindenhoff) had said that this season will feature a twist that will either blow everyone's minds (in a good way) or cause it to "jump the shark." Yes, those were his own words.

So, you may get your wish.

We watched, not really liking this later starting time too much though. Not liking it at all actually, I'll be taping them from here on...

The late start sucks ballz. Going to stay-up anyway. Had a few issues with last night anyway, though. Did anyone else think that there were just a few too many lucky coincidences in the plot? My disbelief was BARELY suspended....

Well, yeah... even after the story tanks, and it "jumps the shark" as long as she's there, I'm a tunin' in....
