Anyone going to see it? From what I hear, there probably won't be a lot of concession sales for this one...

I'm planning on seeing it, just haven't made definite plans yet.

I'm already looking forward to the DVD. Unlike The Last Temptation of Christ, it seems this film is approached with more reverence and attention to the traditional story of Christ's last days. Although I must confess, I did not see Last Temptation.

Regarding Passion, I'm not sure if I'm strong enough to see it in the theater. Coming from a Christian background, it's going to be terribly hard for me to watch Jesus being tortured and abused. I might rather see it on the small screen.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one with a comment. Sometimes I feel like such a topic killer.

My church was selling preview tickets for tomorrow night, not sure if they have any left at this point.

I don't think many people realize what a brutal ordeal it was, it's been so tritely sanitised, almost cliched over the years.

JoshuaB...(the topic killer)...Just kidding of course. My church has not promoted it to much or if they had I was not in the service. I plan on seeing it hopefully on release date. This is the first Christain movie that has actually got some press. The Omega Code (1999) not to be confused with The Omega Man was actually shown in some Regal theaters here in MA. I did see that one.

Most of the Christian movies that are made for the big screen seem to stay in the Bible-belt. Left Behind was another movie that I believe made the big screen, just not here in the northeat.
