Kansas is "the dreaded kansas" for snowboarders. King's Landing it is not.

Madpadraic, volklboarder, one of the boarders on the SR board, swears that Kansas is his favorite trail. At first, I thought he was being sarcastic but it seems he's telling the truth. You should ask him his secret. Look forward to seeing you at the River.

Anyway, as skiisleft (on SR board) puts it:I play all kinds of music in my car...country and western.

Doesn't he mean "I play BOTH kinds of music: country & western." That's a great quote from the Blues Brothers movie when the boys are at the bar at Bob's Country Bunker. What a classic.

Had the AF1 pass for 3 years and skied both.More times at SR because it was at least 1-1/2 hours closer.I don't disagree with many of the facts presented on both sides but this guy would be at the Loaf hands down if I had to choose between the two given the same driving time.Heck,I choose it now and it's way farther.Love the River also. They really are two totally different experiences and both have their positives over the other. Most hardcore skiers would side with the Loaf based on my conversations with a whole range of abilities.
