Anyone been up there recently...looking at taking our 4yr old out for some turns to keep her going and increase her ski mileage on Sunday...its close (1:15hr) they are reporting only 16" YTD snowfall....looks like some rain for Thursday....would Southington be a better choice? (2hrs)

I was there Saturday night with my 4 year old. Alot was open including the double that goes to the "summit". Since it's only 15 minutes from my house, nowhere else makes sense for night skiing with James.

It's a perfect place for little kids starting to learn...little James loves it.

It's old school and small. Things move pretty slowly, but, its warm and cozy and my 4 y.o. loved the hot chocolate. Moreover, we went in the afternoon..got a table right away all three times, at about 12:30 to put the boots on, at about 2 for hot chocolate and again at 3:30 to take the boots off. $33 afternoon ticket for an adult and 4 and under ski free.
