Call for volunteers
February 11, 2012
Winter's here people, and the snow will arrive soon (we hope). This means that the Thunderbolt Ski Runners are once again hosting the Thunderbolt Backcountry Ski Race, once known as the Massachusetts Downhill Championship.
We are in need of volunteers to help us safely pull off this great endeavor.
The Race takes place on February 11th, from roughly 8 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon.
The perks:
fun and camaraderie
fresh air and good times
free breakfast sandwich courtesy of the The Old Forge
schwag bag full of good stuff like Clif bars, granola and (possibly) homemade cookies courtesy of our Treasurers wife
free beer, (Yes you read that right) chili and concert at the Adams Visitor Center after the race, and before the post race dinner courtesy of Pro Adams
a chance to see some truly amazing athletes performing at the peak of their skills on an historic trail that offers some of the most challenging conditions in the world
did I mention good times?
admission to the post race dinner and award ceremony
official race program--a collector's item
a race map
the warm feeling of satisfaction that you have been an integral part of this grand event
official bibs for Spotters and Timers
We still need
timers
spotters
trail guides
registration people
dinner helpers
merchandize sellers

PM me if you think you can help out!
