The inherent properties of the custom-blended high and intermediate-modulus carbon produces not just a lighter, but also a stiffer, damper frame that gains advantages over aluminum in nearly every way: faster acceleration, more precise cornering, and more secure high-speed handling. The custom-tuned Fox RP23 shock gives the Racer X Carbon 100mm of plush rear travel, allowing you to float over rocky sections and warp down fire roads with confidence, while simultaneously rocketing off the line and hammering sweeping singletrack with the adrenal snap of a hardtail.
