Titus Racer X Carbon Mountain Bike Frame

RAW.jpg

The Titus Racer X Carbon is a lighter-than-air, full-on dual-suspension XC race frame, born from the legendary Racer X design and enhanced with a full-carbon monocoque front triangle. Starting with the award-winning geometry and Horst-link rear suspension of its aluminum forebear, the all-carbon version of the Racer X benefits from more than just a weight reduction. The inherent properties of the custom-blended high and intermediate-modulus carbon produces not just a lighter, but also a stiffer, damper frame that gains advantages over aluminum in nearly every way: faster acceleration, more precise cornering, and more secure high-speed handling. The custom-tuned Fox RP23 shock gives the Racer X Carbon 100mm of plush rear travel, allowing you to float over rocky sections and warp down fire roads with confidence, while simultaneously rocketing off the line and hammering sweeping singletrack with the adrenal snap of a hardtail. No stranger to the rigors of racing, Titus reinforces every pivot and mount-point on the carbon frame with cast aluminum inserts, and protects your valuable investment with a replaceable R.U.B. underbelly plate. The only non-carbon frame section is the hydroformed aluminum chainstay-a near-even trade in weight that repays itself in on-trail abuse. In the cross-country ring, the Racer X Carbon is a champion welterweight at the peak of its career: already holding the advantage of experience, it focused all year long on conditioning.
