Hey, how come we're not talking about the '06 Winter Olympics?
Just read an interesting article in today's Wall St. Journal 1/4/06, which may explain. Interest for the Turin, Italy Olympics is way down compared to the last couple. Tix for all events, rooms and travel can still be had. Less than 60% of all tix have been sold.
"If ticket sales don't ramp up soon, Turin will seem pretty lonely compared to the most recent Olympic Games..."
Olympic games start in 40 days. Tickets for alpine events are $36. (that's less than a half-day of skiing at Vail
