Or the annual Skivie awards. My nominations for this year:

1. Snowmonster - Damn he's improved from when I first met him 2 seasons ago, boy shows no fear.

2. Greg - All kidding aside, when I first met him 3 years ago, he looked like a total spaz in the bumps(takes on to know one) it's remarkable how much he's improved since.

3. JimG - Yeah, suprising. First time I met him was three years ago at Cannon. After all I read, I was not impressed. Then this year I skied with him, he's like the freaking Energizer Bunny, doesn't stop!

You TOTALLY caught him on a bad day..

Agreed. Jim's not overly aggressive, so his skill may not be immediately obvious. But if you ski with him a bit you'll see he hardly ever bobbles, is smoooooooth, and skis with a very precise technique. He's like a surgeon on skis.

You got no argument from me on that one!

Not just that! You've done so much to improve your bump skiing. I'm proud of you! I really want to see that video to see how you guys ripped it up at A-basin!

I'm honored.

It's nice to know I can always improve.

:-o It is so radical just to be nominated......... But I would have to say that Marge improved much more than I did this year. I was already an ok skier on the rest of the hill and I just got better in the bumps. Marge's skills spiked all over by doing and progressing at things she had never tried before (bumps, trees, powder, steeps, ect....). She has no fear and most of the time is the one pushing me into the harder stuff. While I stand there thinking about how to get down this nasty trail she just jumps in.

Next year I really want to get to the next level in the bumps and learn a chessy air or two (twister or spreader). This season was all about just getting comfortable in the bumps. Next season I want to learn how to actually bump ski. My current goal is to make it one round farther on the bumps comp than I did last year.

My top 3 would be

1. MRGisEvil: see above

2. MrMagic: I skied with him at the beggining of the year and he was good, but by the end of the season he was just awsome

3. Grassi21: at the beggining of the season he was just as awful as I was in the bumps. On Sundown bump crew nights the two of us skied together alot in the back of the pack, both falling every 10 seconds. While the rest of the crew watched and laughed from below. Thinking about it, we each had some pretty funny falls on NorEaster back in the early parts of the year. I didn't get to ski with him for a month or more until the Pow day on the new Temptor bumps and I was shocked by how far he progressed in that time.
