I drove up past Cannon this morning and down almost into Franconia, but decided I would hike up tuckerbrook trail even though I could not ski. Cannon easily had 15+ inches of snow and possibly more. I drove through the mittersill base area just to look. Kinda nice looking, I bet you could get a cheap room there.
As I drove in to the Tuckerbrook trail I noticed how much snow had actually fallen. Very easy to get stuck in the side of the road. HA. I drove on towards to the parking spot. As I approached I realized the other trail at the base of tuckerbrook had its bridge washed out in the immense rain fall. However, tuckerbrook looked nice.
I hiked up a fairly long way (2.5 miles+/-) and but not all the way to the Mittersill summit because my knee is still recovering. Besides my tracks there was no one else on the trail.
