Anyone running in your local turkey trot? I used to run the one in Manchester, CT but haven't in some time. Killington started one this year I might sign up for.

Everyone just be carfeull in their respective Turkey Trots. Even though they're way shorter than a marathon. The picture (or atleast the legs shown on the gurney surrounded by EMT's about a 1/4 mile from the finishline of today's Philadelphia marathon) the article linked below is of my high school classmate and son of family dentist growing up, who is the main reason why I chose dentistry as a career

I heard of this tragedy this evening from one of my dental school classmates, and longtime friend of him (her dad and his dad are very close friends and colleagues). He was a totally fit, 40 year old attorney who leaves behind a wife and young child, and had successfully run multiple marthons on the past

So sad indeed, we simply are NOT in control as much as we feel we are. Vibes n' prayers for the family
