Just got back from a couple hours at Wawa, where the snow conditions were the best I've seen in a long time. I really wanted to bail out from work, but had to put in a full day. I was fearing that all the good snow would be gone by the time we got up there tonight, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Now, of course we didn't find untracked snow on the trails, but the edges and brief forays into the trees offered some unusually wonderful lines. We stayed entirely on Ralph's and Challenger, both of which had great coverage. Nice soft snow nearly everywhere.
Whoever gets out there early tomorrow morning is going to have some great runs. At least for the first couple hours of the day before it becomes a total zoo.
