TANNERSVILLE, PA -Camelback Mountain Resort is in full swing for the summer. On Thursday, June 14th at 10am EST, people across the world will be learning a very important life lesson-how to swim. Camelbeach is participating in this years Guiness Book of World Records by hosting a free swim lesson to the public.

"Last summer was the first summer that Camelbeach participated in this exciting event," said Brian Czarnecki, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing at Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark. "There are two great things about this event-we could be in the Guinness Book and we get to teach local kids a life-long lesson."

Last years event drew more than 500 official Worlds Largest Swim Lesson host locations around the globe representing 24 countries on five continents and 46 states in the US!

"Drowning is preventable, but, it remains the LEADING cause of injury related death for children ages 1-5."said Tony Keller. Director of Lifeguard Operations, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark. "Join us Thursday to help us spread the word 'Swimming Lessons Save Lives' and break the Guinness Record."

Anyone interested needs to RSVP to rsvp@skicamelback.com with their name and age. On Thursday, check-in at Guest Services at Camelbeach by 9:30am. All participants should bring a bathing suit, towel and a smile.
Camelbeach has 37 rides, slides and attractions for all ages. CBK Mountain Adventures just opened a NEW 4500' twin, racing Zip Flyer-the longest in North America.
