As many of you know, I recently moved to Vermont. Being new to the area has its pluses and minuses.

The reason I started this thread was because I have a relatively private question that none of my friends can answer but I could probably get answered in the skiing/hiking community.

If your feeling helpful and live (year round) within 45 minutes of Essex/Burlington please IM me. I say 45 minutes because every town has this question and every town has its answer...I'm looking for the local version. PM's would be best.

Are you wondering why "Vermont Maple Syrup" has to only contain 80% sap from Vermont to be classified from Vermont??? That always got me too.

Sorry, but I don't know HS's true identity, nor do I want to.

its actually not a creepy question, but asking the question is not something I want permanently public on the internet.

Drew, with a thread like this...you're already becoming eccentric enough to fit right in in Northern Vermont.:lol::lol:

I should know, my brother is a transplanted NY'er who lives in the area for over 10+ years now....but you have a lot of catching up to do in the eccentric department...even with a thread like this.

Ah, right. Without you having to actually ask it, yes, there's a shot for that- clears things right up. You should really lay off the 151 mojitos, though.

yes, you really do have to pump your septic tank, especially when you need a boat to get to the back lot.
And no, you can't dump your trash in your neighbor's yard.

still waiting on someone who can help me out. lets just say that I'm not going to ask you for gay sex or anything even remotely like that. simply asking the question would provide information I wouldn't want online.
