:-D :-D :-D

not trying to kill any one, august is the month of vicarious ski experience, i enjoy it for what it is and wanted to pass along the enjoyment  ;) my vid is still tied up in production. my system started crapping out on me once i got to the 7th-8th minute. once i post the vid later this week, you'll see a SERIOUSLY reduction of quality and a lot of rush work during the third song/segment. i am SO sick of crashing studio 9, guess i should stop using so many effects/clips  two minutes of action, clips, and the bloopers to go. prob be wrapping up by wednesday and posting soon after. if you have seen my other vids, it really doesn't have too much new. but i think the presentation kicks major booty since i got tons of action to work with whereas i always felt limited on the individual vids.

As much as I enjoy editing and watching skiing video, I hate taking video in the woods. First, you can only take very short clip, maybe something like 10 seconds max because you cannot see far. I go down, find a better location with a better visibility, get the camera out, get ready, yell at my son who is bored to death waiting, get the shot, yell down to him to stop (often he does not :)), put away the camera, ski down past him, repeat. It is lots of work. You'll get twice or three times more skiing if you don't take video. It gets so much in the way of enjoying the skiing itself so I try to minimize it as much as possible.

So it is mind boggling amount of tedious work they have to go through to accumulate footages to
create video like those.
