trying to make sense of the weather to expect up north this weekend. NECN is indicating a dry saturday and late rains on sunday but noaa.gov has rain the entire weekend. any perspective?

Yeah, but it doesn't sound like hard rain, just occasional showers. It kind of sucks, but it could be a lot worse.
