Wachusett Mountain.

Just got back from wa.....missed first chair but got on at about about 0755....
I was so certain everything would be groomed I left my volkl explosivs home and ski'd my 170 head i-supershapes. Good call. They blast thru pretty much everything below mid shin deep....
Conditions although groomed were absolutely fabulous for 1 1/2 hours. Did mostly laps on Hitchock as lift remained ski on until about 9:45. H was skiing like a packed pwdr roller coaster.......
Took one run from the top conditions equally glorious but the typical huge wa w/e/ holiday crowd was building....
At 11:15 back to the ticket desk, clipped the tix to get back the $5 and outta there.
$52!!! for wa.....wow! I'm not so sure about that......back to midweek wa on Thursday....
If you can get out tonight and the rest of the week wa should be sweet.
