Trip Report:
Wow! What a blast. Possibly the best *gasp* time I've ever had at that little mountain.
The school groups stayed off the hill for the most part, the HSQ was crankin and I was getting runs in fast!
I started of on Smith Walton, and the snow was excellent. Just like spring skiing! I zipped off my sleeves and hit up some poorly formed moguls there. I'm grateful they didn't groom though. Many people were complaining about this, and I just smiled and enjoyed my night.
I switched over to Tenth Mountain and they had just seeded new moguls this morning. I skied those the rest of the night. The were a poor pattern but they were soft and the shape was good for seeded. They were well worked in except for the bottom flat. And there were some nice little kickers at the end for Marc to make a feeble attempt at a poor trick.
My legs are beat but it was soo worth it. The snow was so soft and easy to push. I love corn. Man, now I can't wait for Reggae fest at the Loaf. Gonna be sweeet.
