Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett Mountain, MA

Conditions: Packed Powder, Loose Granular

Trip Report:

Good night at Wawa tonight. A lot less crowded than last Friday and a few good runs tonight. I skiied from 3-8.

10th: The top under the lift is open now. Stay right as everything to the left is bare or rocks and ice. The rest of the trail was excellent and fast. Good air off the roads.

Smith: Excellent run tonight. Headwall was all corn, but it was easy to manuver in and not a big deal. Tons of air off the roads and lower was extremely fast. Polar Express has a 5 mintue wait with occasionally longer lines and running slower than normal.

Piece: Good the whole way due to the lack of traffic. Random little kickers to skiier's right by the trees.

Frannie's: Good for the first half, but got skiied off VERY quickly when Ralph's was closed for grooming. Some places to get air. Triple was slow as usual and no lines.

Hitchcock: Same as it's been the last 2 visits. It is keeping up great with the constantly changing weather.

Look Mom UPDATE: Park should be open tomorrow along with the pipe. Everything is just about ready and the groomers were finishing up. Minuteman had a 5 minute line all night and running normal.

I'll be up there Friday in a t-shirt. Friggen 60.
