I did kind of a repeat of last week by going to Wawa for 15 runs tonight. Conditions were firm with some slick spots, but most of it was carveable, although overall it wasn't as good as last week. It was more typical of early season conditions at Wawa. Ralph's is still overrun with boarders and beginners so I only did a single run on it, Challenger skied well for 9 runs, and Indian summer is getting pretty thin. Hopefully they get a chance to expand this week because I am pretty bored of challenger now. I left at 7:30 just when it started to flurry a bit. Now I feel like I have worked off the early season rust and am ready to head north.

The weather doesn't look too good for snowmaking this week, with high humidity and not very low temperatures. I'd be surprised if they try to expand. I'm tired of Ralph's and Challenger, but I guess it's better than nothing.

Saw in the Wawa snow report video that they have started blowing snow on Tenth and Conifer. About freaking time! But looks like some possible rain next week so hopefully they can get those trails open anyway. Even if they are ice, I'll be out there. Was happy to see the lovely Hanna back doing snow reports this season, but she always seems to exaggerate how good the conditions are.
