Date(s) Skied: Friday Night 2/26/10
Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett, MA
Conditions: Snowy, PP with junk underneath, 30s
Trip Report:
Things were kinda crappy with slush puddles and an ugly base. The skied areas had a lot of natural frankensnow type stuff. Some good spots, some bad spots. Anywhere with a rope or a closed sign had 4-5" of new snow and you weren't hitting the base. Leave it to Wachusett to leave stuff closed that actually skis good. Also disappointed they cancelled 24 hour night due to "inclement weather." First time I've seen a place close due to light snow. Apparently last year's torrential downpours weren't bad weather but light snow is.
Forgot to add... bumps on 10th are gone.
