Just a quickie TR here have to get back to work.....

Got 1st chair at 0845 with Skimangojazz and took 1 run on Ralph's (my first time out this year) and about 3 runs on Challenger.....all were flat out outstanding! Fantastic edge to edge coverage - Challenger esp was set up real real nice.

Off to main mountain lift about a dozen runs on Conifer which was also good tho, as always it got scratchy in spots pretty quick, but we know how to avoid the heavy traffic areas on the hill after logging so many miles there so the trail ski'd nicely right up until I quit at about noon.....

About 11 AM 10th opened and we caught a fresh tracks run there but the toilet was flushing with skidding terrified low intermediates way over their heads chasing the dream (which is fine I just don't feel like an early season crasheroo) so we moved back over to the now empty Conifer and did a few more laps.

Good. no make that great first day out.

Should be nice tonight, go get some!

The best conditions on the hill are on Challenger at the moment.....

Glad you young lads had a great day. Would've liked to have joined you but I was running Monte Carlo Power simulations most of the day.

Glad you young lads had a great day. Would've liked to have joined you but .........

Next time my friend.....will be seeking the b'east a bit too.... I expect likely midweek, they've gone too expensive on me for weekend there too. I understand and no more deals to be had.

It was another great day of skiing tho, sorry we missed you folks!

Perhaps a Wednesday night sometime at wa?......if we both depart from northern RI where we work it might be doable no? I could be on the hill by 6:00!

Another thing to think about......

I was there last night for the Race League kick-off event. Took a few runs before attending the event.

Must agree that Challenger was the pick of the night!

10th was just opened...so no surprise that the it got sratchy. If you had edges, you were fine, but it did have that sand on plywood sensation.

Conifer was also good....Challenger was fabulous.

I thought 10th skied great last night. Didn't hit any scratchyness. Snow was great everywhere I went. Skipped Conifer since i didn't feel like getting yelled at by the blinky light guys.
