Date(s) Skied: Sunday 11/28/10
Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett, MA
Conditions: Variable... edge to edge on Conifer... lots of pebbles
Trip Report:
Got up there around 9:15... parked in row 6 and headed up to the summit line. They were loading every other chair to keep crowding down on Conifer... that coupled with the fact that only the summit was open until 10:30 made for lines of 5-10 minutes. Conifer was wall to wall pretty much the whole way, some decent snow on the sides but mainly PP with some scraped off spots. Lots of pebbles too. Some bumps forming around 11 from all the traffic. Ollies and Indian Summer opened around 11 which really alleviated the crowd at the summit. Still incredible to me that Wachusett can open 3 trails before half of New England is still not even top to bottom.
Anyways, back to VT I go... hopefully heading to Cannon on Wednesday but we'll see with the rain.
