Here is a question.... would you pay more for a pass if they limited skiers more. Example... cutting the skiers in half but charging 2x as much so the revenue is the same, but preserving more fresh tracks and shortening up lift lines. If a lift line is 20 or 25 minutes long it could literally cut your available runs in half.

Nope. Even on a crowded day, I can get my 20 odd runs in and be done with what my legs can safely handle with a few hours of lift spiining before last chair hits. I fully take advantage of the fact that my kids get up EARLY and 1st chair isn't an issue for us 99% of the time, which lets us get a bunch of runs in before the "crack o' 10AM masses" show up :)

2x as much? No way. I would be open to them spreading the cost out over other departments like rentals, food, and others to name a few but no way would the other way work.

No way I would pay more. Just continue to avoid the most crowded areas on the most crowded days.

I have yet to wait in a line more than probably 6-7 minutes this year, and those have been few and far between. And I mostly ski on weekends.

I don't think I've ever seen the 3rd lot in use...and I had a pass there for 2 seasons...but with the bronze and silver passes I never skied on holidays or peak weekends either.
